EDS-518A er iðnaðar netbeinir með  18 port 10/100 ásamt 2 combo Gigabit portum með annaðhvort  RJ45 eða SFP uplink. Beinir er með Turbo Ring og Turbo Chain (recovery time < 20 ms) sem gerir þennan fullkominn i bakbeins net.

EDS-518A er stjórnað annaðhvort með CLI eða i vef viðmóti.
